  35.      This is version 01.  Renamed from SpiroDraw06 and added two new
  36.      design generator functions, "YarnBall" and "CircleStar".

  42. AUTHOR

  44.      EyeCandy01 was written by me, Chuck Kenney.  My particulars
  45.      (address, etc.) are included in the user document in the archive.

  47. DESCRIPTION
  48.  
  49.      EyeCandy01 generates various "eye candy" designs.  Currently these
  50.      are:  "SpiroDraw", "YarnBall" and "CircleStar".  Future releases
  51.      of EyeCandy will likely have more designs programmed in.  "SpiroDraw"
  52.      simulates the Wheels-and-Rings-and-Pens spirograph drawing toy.
  53.      "YarnBall" ... well generates designs that look like balls of yarn.
  54.      "CricleStar" generates designs that look like 3D checkerboard stars.
  55.      "EyeCandy" Allows the user to specify differentvalues for many of
  56.      the parameters which dictate the sizes and shapes of the designs -
  57.      "Drawing Wheels, Drawing Rings", number of"YarnBall" spokes, etc.
  58.      The use of a computer to generate the SpiroDraw designs actually
  59.      enhances some of the capabilities!  "EyeCandy01" is all mouse-driven
  60.      (MENUs, GADGETs, etc.).  It is a fun _and_ addictive program!

  62.      EyeCandy01.lha also contains a very nice little freely distributable
  63.      "screen-to-IFF" saver utility by Preben Nielsen (thanks, Preben) so
  64.      that "EyeCandy" designs can be imported into "paint" programs.

  66.      "EyeCandy" is shareware but does not nag the user in any way (except
  67.      if the user selects the "About" MENU item) and all features are fully
  68.      functional.

  70. NEW FEATURES
  71.  
  72.      "EyeCandy01" is the follow-on to "SpiroDraw06".  It was renamed to
  73.      better reflect its new additional design-generation capabilities.
  74.      So far, these new designs include "YarnBall" and "CircleStar".
  75.      Other minor enhancements (compared to SpiroDraw06) were implemented
  76.      in the "SpiroDraw" and the user interface functions in general.

  80.      There are no special requirements that I know of.
  81.      EyeCandy01 has been tested on an Amiga 2000HD (OS 2.1)
  82.      and an Amiga 1000 (OS 1.3).

  86.      EyeCandy01.lha has just been uploaded to the AMINET site,
  87.      ftp.etsu.edu (192.43.199.20) and should soon be available on
  88.      all other AMINET sites.

  93.      "aminet/gfx/misc" directory.

  101.      The asking shareware price is the amount sent to me by my first
  102.      shareware contributor.  This requested shareware fee is $5.00 (US).

  106.      This program is freely distributable as long as the documentation
  107.      accompanies the program but is a copyrighted (1994) shareware
  108.      program by me, Chuck Kenney.

  112.      EyeCandy01, and other programs in progress are coming out of my
  113.      basement as a result of the availability of a truly wonderful
  114.      "BASIC-but-much-more!" compiler, "ACE" by David Benn.  I would
  115.      like to sincerely thank Mr. Benn for renewing my enthusiasm in
  116.      programming and for making it possible for me to make my programs
  117.      available to more than just my friends and immediately family!
